Angelica Maria Vale Hartman, also known as Angelica Vale, is a Mexican-American actress, singer impersonator and radio host who is often referred to being the mother of Angelica Maria La Novia de Mexico and also as the daughter of comedian Raul Vale. She was credited with inventing La Balada Ranchera, a popular genre of music that hit the charts in 1973 and resulted in Angelica Maria to become the first Latin artist who sold two million albums in the United States. She also met Venezuelan comedian/singer Raul Vale. She married him in April 1975. This was the first wedding to be broadcast on television in Mexico.
