Alexandra Margo Sholler, known professionally as Alison Wonderland, is an Australian electronic dance music DJ, producer as well as a performer. Allison Cara Tolman was born in the US. The actress has received nominations for the Golden Globes and Emmy Awards for her performance in Fargo: Season 1, in the role of Molly Solverson. Tolman was raised in the city of New York and is a mother to two older and a younger brother. Her family relocated to England when she was a little over a month old. She stuck around until she turned four years old. After five years of living in Oklahoma the family moved back to Sugar Land. Tolman won praise for her portrayal of Minnesota Police Officer Molly Solverson. Vanity Fair reported it was clear that Tolman, "calmly" and "assuredly", stole the show. Tolman was awarded the Critics' Choice Television Award for her performance in the category Best Supporting Actress in the category of movies/ministries. In addition, her nominations in the category of Best Actress were received at the Emmy Awards as well as the Golden Globes. In the following year, it was announced Tolman was set to play a 2-episode guest appearance on The Mindy Project playing Abby Berman, a romance writer. The year 2015 was the last time she played the role of a support in Michael Dougherty's comedy-horror film Krampus. Her breakout performance in the role of Fargo caused her to drop various supporting roles, such as the roles of mothers and best friends, wives and husbands. Tolman was searching for more unconventional roles. Tolman played a character on ABC as a character in Downward Dog (based on Animal Media Group's web-series). The show was cancelled after a single season. In addition, she starred on the ABC drama show Emergence, which began airing on September 24, 2019 but was pulled after one season on May 21 in 2020.
